EXPERIENCE

Wells Fargo

As a Technology Program Intern at Wells Fargo, I worked within the Servicing Edge team to develop a scenario coverage analysis tool that identifies matches and similarities between Jira and Confluence. I collaborated cross-functionally across teams to enhance the platform's scenario-matching capabilities using internal APIs and a Python-based automation pipeline. My time at Wells helped me strengthen both my software engineering skillset and my ability to contribute to impactful fintech projects at scale.

740 Project

As a Data Analytics and Marketing Intern at 740 Project, I conducted comprehensive social media audits for hip-hop clients using Python (NumPy and Pandas) and Google Analytics, analyzing engagement metrics to identify high-performing content for improvement, resulting in a 25% increased performance. I orchestrated tailored marketing campaigns integrating SEO optimization and content calendars, boosting artist visibility by 40% and increasing streaming numbers by 55% across Spotify and Apple Music. During my time, I had the pleasure of working with esteemed clients including Chiko Russ, Agnez Mo, Justin Quiles, Will Smith, and Ye.

MMBC

As the newly elected Co-President of the Michigan Music Business Club, I will be leading strategy and operations for one of the largest student-run music orgs in the country. Previously as VP of Marketing, I engineered an automated content scheduling system for TikTok and Instagram, resulting in a 139% increase in interaction and reach. I also leda 10+ person team to launch successful campaigns like ‘New Music Friday’ and ‘Trivia Tuesday’, achieving a 68% increase in Instagram engagement and a 70% rise in Spotify followers. I revamped our website for better UX, launched the B Major Podcast (200+ hours streamed), and helped lead artist events with Don Toliver, 24kGoldn, and Cordae in collaboration with 740 Project and RushLink, reaching over 1,500 students.

WEB DESIGN

I specialize in creating websites for clients, tailoring each project to their specific needs and industry requirements. One of my notable projects includes developing a simple yet effective landing page for Trillion Music Distribution.

My work includes custom theme modifications, performance optimizations, and the integration of essential e-commerce features such as SEO and responsive design. Links to some of my e-commerce projects are included here for review, demonstrating my ability to create robust online stores that drive sales and engagement.

PROJECTS

SongSync

SongSync aims to solve the challenge of finding the ideal playlist for any mood, offering a unique and tailored musical journey every time. It is a web application designed to revolutionize playlist creation through advanced audio analysis and mood-based curation.

The project involves implementing various methods to sort and manage audio tracks effectively, focusing on features such as energy, tempo, and danceability to ensure each playlist is harmonically and rhythmically cohesive. By integrating with the Spotify API, SongSync accesses users' top artists and creates personalized playlists directly on their profiles. The application employs sophisticated algorithms to match users' selected moods with tracks from their favorite artists, computing mood scores to curate the perfect listening experience.

Design Process: I started development with SongSync by identifying the need for a more personalized music experience that adapts to user mood and preferences. After researching user behavior on music platforms, I initiated a series of brainstorming sessions to outline key features. Early prototypes were built using React and tested for usability. After refining the UI based on feedback, I integrated Spotify API to fetch and analyze user data, ensuring seamless playlist creation. The project's frontend was styled with CSS for an engaging and intuitive user interface.

I invite you to read through the code on GitHub. Check out my LinkedIn post!

Kappa Theta Pi

Kappa Theta Pi Life App

As Director of App Development for Kappa Theta Pi, I led the design and engineering of the KTP Life App, streamlining communication for 90+ brothers and 300+ applicants per rush cycle. I implemented real-time Firebase syncing, built iOS/Android widgets, and developed a clean UI using Flutter, resulting in 1,900+ downloads and 38k+ impressions. My contributions included a full account management system (1,000+ active users), Google Sheets integration for rushee scoring, and maintaining 50k+ lines of scalable code.

Design Process: The concept for the Kappa Theta Pi Life App emerged from the need to streamline fraternity management tasks. Initial brainstorming sessions focused on identifying key features that could address everyday challenges faced by fraternity members. User interviews helped refine our understanding and prioritize functionalities, leading to the creation of initial prototypes using Figma. Subsequent testing phases allowed us to iterate on design and functionality, ensuring a user-friendly experience that met the needs of our members.

MScribe

M-Scribe is a Chrome extension designed to revolutionize the way students interact with their academic content.

This tool enhances UMich lecture experiences by combining a React frontend with a Flask backend, incorporating cutting-edge AI technologies for real-time lecture analysis and summarization. M-Scribe not only reduces student study time by 40% but also improves comprehension through features like advanced AI-driven note-taking and content summarization. It's about making every study session as productive as possible, freeing up time for what truly matters to students.

Design Process: MScribe was conceived to enhance the educational experience by facilitating better engagement with lecture content. The project began with a thorough analysis of student needs through surveys and one-on-one interviews, which highlighted the demand for advanced note-taking and content summarization tools. We developed prototypes using Plasmo and CSS and refined our approach through multiple rounds of user feedback and functional enhancements.

Check out the GitHub repo to view the code as well as a demonstration of the RAG implementation.

HomeHunter

I designed an Airbnb-style application, showcasing available apartments and homes for lease in Ann Arbor. To simplify the process of finding and leasing properties, I incorporated location-based search and filtering features.

Data Structures Used: Hash Tables/Dictionaries, Arrays, Queues, JSON Objects, Geospatial Indexing Structures

Drone Delivery

For the drone delivery simulation, the project focused on optimizing delivery routes using graph-based algorithms like Prim's and Kruskal's to determine the most efficient paths. Additionally, it tackled the Traveling Salesman problem to further refine route optimization.

Data Structures Used: Graphs, Priority Queues

SillyQL

In this project, we developed a simplified SQL-like program, called SillyQL, for managing databases. The program used hash tables to handle large datasets efficiently, mimicking real-world database management systems in processing queries and managing data.

Data Structures Used: Hash Tables, Unordered Maps

Mine Escape

This project required us to implement priority queues using various methods, including the Poor man's method, a sorted method, a binary heap method, and a pairing heap method, to simulate an efficient escape route from a mine in case of an emergency.
